SPACE APPEAL SCHEDULE FOR 2008

December 2007: The first appeal letter is sent to all current use landowners listed in our database. This is SPACE's main appeal for any given year. It is accompanied by a colored donor form which now has the year of contribution listed on the form.

June 2008: A second appeal is inserted in the Summer edition of the SPACE newsletter. We will include a chart in the Fundraising section of the newsletter to let you know where we stand in the current year.

September 2008: A third, and final appeal is sent only to those contributors who have faithfully contributed in the past, but not yet, in the current year.

Special appeals: Seldom, but are sent if funding is low, or we expect a flurry of activity in Legislature.

The SPACE fiscal year runs from October 1st to September 30th each year.

These appeals are in no way an annual bill, but simply a request to help us maintain our advocacy and informational organization to better assist you.

It is our goal this year to increase contributions to 15%.

Once your contribution has been received, you should receive either an acknowlgement letter (if contribution was $100.00 or above) or a thank you postcard (all other donations) within a few weeks. Sample of new thank you card can be viewed here. If you do not wish to receive any acknowledgement correspondence, or do not wish to have your name listed as a "100 Club" member, please indicate on the donor form. If the do not list box is not checked, then SPACE will only enter your name in alphabetically order with all the other "100 Club and above" donors.
